A nutritious and easy-to-prepare chia pudding that’s packed with protein and fiber, perfect for busy mornings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine chia seeds, milk, sweetener, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to ensure chia seeds are evenly distributed.
  2. Let it sit: Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes to help the seeds absorb some liquid.
  3. Stir again: After resting, stir the pudding again to break up any clumps of chia seeds.
  4. Refrigerate: Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  5. Serve: Once thickened, scoop the pudding into bowls or jars and top with your favorite fruits, nuts, or granola.

Notes

For an even creamier texture, blend the mixture before refrigerating. Experiment with sweeteners to find your favorite.
