Ingredients
1 pound Sirloin Steak (Cubed)
1/4 cup Mirin (Optional; adds sweetness)
3 cloves Garlic (Minced)
1 tablespoon Ginger (Grated fresh or powdered)
2 tablespoons Sesame Oil (Vegetable oil can replace)
2 medium Carrots (Sliced thinly)
1 medium Zucchini (Sliced thinly)
8 ounces Mushrooms (Quartered)
3 cups Fried Rice (Pre-cooked)
2 tablespoons Soy Sauce (Low-sodium recommended)
Instructions
Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, combine the mirin, minced garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Add the cubed sirloin steak. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.
Cook the Steak: Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Combine with Rice: Add the pre-cooked fried rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables. Add the cooked steak back to the skillet. Drizzle the soy sauce over the mixture and stir everything together until heated through, about 2 minutes.
Serve Hot: Remove from heat and serve in bowls. You can garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
Notes
Consider adding chili flakes for some heat or a sprinkle of sesame seeds for additional flavor.
